Can others interpret my dreams?
Yes, and NO! Our philosophy is that only YOU can accurately
interpret your dreams. However a dream analyst can help guide you
through your interpretation. In addition depending on the
dreamwork needed, they can help role play with you. Some feel
that symbols are universal. Although we do not think so, we do
feel that some symbols may be similar meanings for a majority of
people within the same culture. Therefore some interpretations
done by others may be somewhat accurate. We do not feel this
is the best approach and you should always interpret your own dreams
even with the help of a dream guide.
Can I use a dream dictionary?
Only use a dream dictionary if you are stuck. We do not
feel that symbols are universal. For example, dreaming of
riding naked on a horse can mean freedom for some, while horrible
fear for others. Context also comes into play. For
example riding on a horse along the beach may mean one thing, but
through a dark forest another. Even riding along the beach can
mean different things, especially if you are afraid of water.
Why use a dream journal?
Using a dream journal has 2 benefits. First, it tells your
brain you WANT to remember your dreams and that you are looking for
your dreams to help you in life. To guide you and give you the
answers to questions that are on your mind at that time.
Second, it allows you to revisit dreams, to see patterns in dreams,
and to aid in interpreting dreams more easily. Third, it gives
you a timeline and allows you to watch as your prophetic dreams come
true. It also allows you to see the decisions you have made in
your life and why, and how they affected your past and future.
Why do you charge for your newsletter and
interpretations?
Our mailing list is free. If you all you want to do is keep
informed about DreamWorkers.org, you can join our mailing list.
However to receive our dreamworking newsletter, we used to charge a
modest subscription fee of $19.97 a year
(NOW FREE) for the online version, and
$29.97 for the print version. This newsletter is packed with
hints, tips, how-to's, and informative information about
dreamworking and related topics. It is a professional
publication and is more than worth the price. In addition, you
get all the other member benefits as listed on our
products page.
Some sites do offer "free interpretations". However, those
sites do not offer interactive interpretations. It is this
difference that necessitates our having to charge for our services.
We are a professional organization and our guides offer top-notch
interactive dreamworking consulting services.
Do I get a certificate when I become certified
and is it valid?
Yes, you get a certificate.
Is it valid is always a tough question. There is no legislative
body for
dreamworking. Anyone can do it. There are no laws and
therefore the
certification is not like that of a psychologist or doctor. It
is more like
that of a certified A+ Networking Certificate in the computer
industry. It
means you have been trained and have the knowledge to do the
job. You can
work in the computer industry without the certificate, but
employers like to
see you have certifications. The same goes for those who are
coming to you
for dreamworking. Anyone can claim the ability to help
interpret dreams.
Your certificate shows you have been formally trained and know
how to do it
properly.
What can I do with my certification?
Advertise yourself as a dreamworker.
Start a dreamworking group. Add this
as a service to your existing credentials (hypnotist, counselor,
psychologist, etc...) or perhaps just have fun and do it as a
hobby. In any
case, dreamworking alone will not make you rich, especially in the
short
term. But as you get to be known, and if there is a call for it in
your
area, then you can make money and have fun while doing it.
Especially if it
is a service you provide with other services.
Can I get a job with these credentials?
I am not sure what type of job you
could get as a dreamworker without a degree in something else. You
would really need to start your own business. Many share offices
with other holistic workers such as hypnotists, massage therapists,
counselors, reiki practitioners, etc... Someone who works with
dreams would be a welcome addition to any such office.
I am a psychologist. Why do I need your
course?
You don't!
You have everything you need to work with your clients and their
dreams. BUT, if you want to offer your clients the best
dreamworking experience, becoming certified as a dreamworker from
DreamWorkers.org can provide:
- Additional certification and
education (nothing beats more knowledge)
- Perhaps shows you different ways
of looking at dreamworking
- Sometimes provides information
you probably didn't learn about dreamworking from your psychology
courses (many disregard holistic approaches to therapy)
- Keeps you up to date
- Refreshes your memory about
dreams and dreamworking
- Can show you some techniques you never
thought of before or weren't taught
- Opens up a new line of clientele that you
may not have pursued

What does the bible say about dreamworking?
Here is just one example:
"For God speaketh
once, yea twice yet man perceiveth is not. In a dream, in
a vision of the night when deep sleep falleth upon men
slumbering upon their bed, then He openeth their ears and
sealeth in their instructions."
Job 33: 14-16
