First, some background. In real life, my father is a frugal and aloof man, not prone to displays of emotion. He is 78, has advanced COPD, is on oxygen most of the day, and cannot stand for more than 10 minutes without tiring. I visit with him every Sunday afternoon. I had this dream sometime between 6:00 and 7:00 am on a Monday morning.

In my dream, he is standing at a table in a side room off of a dining room, and he is busy wrapping Christmas gifts. I walk into the room, and he excitedly shows me some unique wrapping paper he found. Behind him is a shelf stacked full of wrapped gifts with the names of me and my siblings on them. I point to it and say something about him being like Scrooge on Christmas day after being visited by the three ghosts. He laughs and admits that he'd been like Scrooge, then he hugs me. In my dream, he is acting the total opposite of what he's like in real life.

sorry for the long delay, I didn't see this post.

Anyway, this is a tough one because it could go in either direction. He is giving you (and your siblings) gifts which are wrapped which could mean something hidden or not seen. IN this case, he could be saying that you may not see it, but being like him is a gift or you should learn from that. Maybe not as much but perhaps you are the opposite spending too much money and he thinks you should try to at least be a little more like him. However, the dream could also be saying the opposite, that you shouldn't be like him, and the gift is that you learn from him what not to do. I can't tell from teh dream which to be honest.

Peace, John'
